choosing the stave planks
Following several processes -shaping, planning and jointing - the stave planks, which have now become staves, are individually seleted through visual inspection by a master cooper.
raising the barrel
The barrel is assembled in a circular fashion forming what is known as "the Rose". This highly skilled process is the result of a "total quality and skills development" ethos at Nadalié.
customized toasting
Fire, water and hard work by skilled artisans, enables the barrel to take shape. Toasting is a pivotal stage of the "barrel making process". Customized specifications are followed.
Along with closely monitored temperatures and fire intensities the distinctive organoleptic characteristics are archieved. The goal : "Perfect harmony between Wood and Wine".
